WIMBLEDON PARK ROAD – WHOLE HOME REFURBISHMENT
Originally built in the 1920s as a substantial four bedroomed house, Wimbledon Park Road hadn’t been touched for 30 years when it was bought by Nick and Amanda as their family home. When I first walked in construction was underway to add a loft master suite and open plan kitchen and living space. There was no rear wall, no kitchen roof, wires hanging out of every ceiling and the family was living in two rooms with a makeshift kitchen. The brief was to develop a colourful, practical and contemporary whole home design with bespoke built in storage, high quality fixtures, fittings and furniture, interesting lighting and luxurious touches. A consistent colour scheme was applied throughout based around soft pink, dark blue and yellow, with contemporary kitchen, family room and bathrooms, fun touches throughout and a luxurious master suite.
